According to the GUR of Ukraine, among the released servicemen are three officers and 202 soldiers and sergeants. They fought in the Donetsk, Luhansk directions, in the Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kyiv regions. As part of the exchange, defenders of Mariupol also returned to Ukraine.

According to the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, today marked the 64th prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 4,757 Ukrainians have been returned.
The Russian Ministry of Defense indicated that the returned Russian servicemen are currently in Belarus. In Russia, they are planned to be sent to the department's medical institutions for treatment and rehabilitation. The nominal list of military personnel who returned to Russia during this exchange is published by the project 'Our Exit'. The project's Telegram channel specifies that more than half of the servicemen (116 out of 205) were found by relatives through the Ukrainian project 'I Want to Find'.
The previous prisoner exchange took place on April 19, with the mediation of the UAE, the parties returned 246 people each.
