Artillery struck the Dnipropetrovsk region, in Kherson a drone attacked a local resident

Russian troops attacked the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones and artillery, resulting in one person injured, a fire broke out, and several residential buildings were damaged, reported the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak.

“An 83-year-old man was injured. He will be treated on an outpatient basis. A garage and an outbuilding caught fire. The fire was extinguished by rescuers,” he wrote on his Telegram channel, adding that two private houses, an outbuilding, and power lines were damaged.

In Kherson, a Russian drone attacked a civilian, the man was injured and hospitalized. “Around 6 a.m., a resident of Kherson came under attack from a Russian drone. As a result of the ammunition drop, a 60-year-old man received a mine-explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his legs,” local authorities reported.

From May 8 to 10, Vladimir Putin unilaterally declared a “truce” with Ukraine. An hour before it began, the Russian army dropped an aerial bomb on a high-rise building in the Donetsk region, injuring 13 people. As reported by the head of the communications department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ignat, almost 100 guided aerial bombs were dropped on the Sumy region that same night. During the day, the Poltava region was attacked by a missile.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sibiga, stated that the “parade ceasefire” turned out to be a farce. “According to our military data, despite Putin's statements, Russian troops continue to advance along the entire front line. From midnight to noon, Russia committed 734 ceasefire violations and 63 assault operations, 23 of which are still ongoing; 586 shellings of our troops' positions, 464 of which with heavy weapons; 176 FPV drone strikes; and 10 airstrikes using 16 guided aerial bombs,” he reported on May 8.
