The head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, signed a decree according to which one-time payments for signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will be reduced from 1.6 million to 1 million rubles from June 5, reported «Kommersant-Bashkortostan». At the same time, contractors in Ufa will continue to receive a municipal payment of 700 thousand rubles, which the mayor of Ufa previously extended until the end of 2025.
Contractors in Bashkortostan have been receiving one-time payments of 1.6 million rubles since the beginning of 2024. Khabirov previously increased the amount threefold, raising it from the initial 205 thousand rubles.
Bashkortostan is the leader in Russia in the number of confirmed casualties in the war with Ukraine. According to calculations by «Idel.Realii»*, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, at least 5,757 natives of the republic have already died. And these are only figures from open data — reports from relatives, municipal administrations, and military commissariats.
In April, one-time payments for signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense were reduced in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (from 3.1 million rubles to 1.9 million), in Belgorod region (from 3 million rubles to 800 thousand), and in Nizhny Novgorod region (from 3 million rubles to 1.5 million).
