Russia attacked Pryluky in the Chernihiv region with kamikaze drones at night. It is reported that a residential area was hit, at least 5 people died, and six were injured, said the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus. According to preliminary information, at least six 'Geran' type kamikaze drones were used.
Five people are known to have died — among them two women and a one-year-old child. This includes a 46-year-old resident of Pryluky, her daughter born in 1998, and her grandson born in 2024. The women and the child were found under the rubble. Six more people were injured. Local authorities report that the strikes were not aimed at infrastructure objects, but specifically targeted civilian buildings.
A combined drone and missile strike was also carried out at night on Kharkiv, injuring 18 people, including four children. Seven multi-story residential buildings were damaged, with fires breaking out in apartments in three of them.
Kherson and Odesa regions were also hit at night, a 74-year-old man was injured and taken to the hospital with a mine-explosive injury.
