In Voronezh, a local resident who transferred cryptocurrency "to the accounts of Ukrainian militants" was detained, reported "RIA Novosti" citing the FSB Public Relations Center. He was charged with treason and sent to a pre-trial detention center.
The special service claims that the individual wanted to financially support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and, on his own initiative, contacted a representative of the Ukrainian special services via Telegram. He then transferred money in cryptocurrency to the accounts of a paramilitary organization created under the control of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The security forces also published footage of the detention — the man was knocked to the ground while walking his dogs
