In the Moscow suburb of Podolsk, a 40-year-old local resident was detained for calling on Telegram to bomb Moscow

Security forces detained a resident of the Moscow suburb of Podolsk on suspicion of "public calls for terrorist activities and propaganda of terrorism," the FSB reported. A criminal case was initiated against the 40-year-old man after he called for bombing Moscow and the Moscow region in Telegram channels.

The court chose detention as a preventive measure for the man, the name of the case figure is unknown. The agency's press release stated that the detainee confessed to his guilt.

According to the investigation, in pro-Ukrainian Telegram channels, the Podolsk resident published messages calling for strikes "on the civilian infrastructure of Moscow to intimidate the local population and influence the course of the special military operation by the Russian side, as well as the destruction of defense industry enterprises located in the Moscow region."

One of the messages mentioned the need to "frequently bomb" Moscow so that "the population feels a sense of anxiety and war." In the published video, the man stated that he "possibly wrote" this message.
