On the morning of October 29, Russian artillery attacked a children's hospital in Kherson, injuring 9 people, reported the head of the regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin.
He specified that children, their parents, and medical staff were in the hospital.
It is noted that among the injured are four children and three medical workers. In particular, a nine-year-old girl was injured. One of the hospital workers is in serious condition, and two other medics are in moderate condition.
The hospital building sustained significant damage: walls were partially destroyed, windows and doors were blown out. Nearby structures were also damaged by the blast wave.
During the massive attack on the civilian infrastructure of the Odessa region, one person was injured. Russian troops struck an energy facility, leaving 26.9 thousand homes without power.
In Izyum, Russia shelled an educational institution, an unfinished five-story office building, and a destroyed shopping center building, causing fires and injuring a woman, reported the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In Dnipropetrovsk, a 38-year-old man was injured as a result of shelling, local authorities reported.
